Collection and Custom printing orders
To receive an estimate for letterpress wedding invitation and stationery orders please contact us here. Don’t forget to read about our process and the options available to you. We will send you an invoice for payment via email. All of our invoices are set up for direct debit payment, however if you wish to pay via credit card please inform us early so we can set up a invoice via Paypal for you. Please review your invoice carefully to ensure all of the details of your order are correct. Any options or items not included in the invoice will not be included with your order.
For all collection and custom printing orders we supply the invoice in a minimum of two parts, a 40% design deposit and the remaining balance prior to commencement of printing. Exceptions to this payment plan may occur if you have a extensive additional flat printed items that are not required until your wedding day.
For all supplied design printing we require 100% payment prior to printing.
No design or printing will commence until the relevant invoice is paid.

For custom designed and gallery design orders, we do not put a limit on the number of proofs required. We send digital PDF proofs of your invitation suite by email for your approval. For a smooth and simple process it is preferable to receive all of your edits in a single email per proof. Please note that each computer screen or printer cannot give a 100% accurate representations of Pantone colours or our selection of colours compared to the final colour when letterpress printed.
Proofs are extremely important as the final approved proof is used to generate your plates, these cannot be altered once they have been cast.
By approving the final proof you agree that all text and design are correct exactly as shown with no further changes necessary. Please proofread slowly and very carefully. Once you approve your proofs, there can be no additional edits for spelling, punctuation or content without incurring additional costs for new plates, or if necessary, reprinting.

Any edits or changes to your order (including inclusions and quantities) can be made any time prior to the final proof approval. Paper Elephant reserves the right to retain a minimum cancellation fee of 20% of the invoice if the order is cancelled prior to design development and approval. If an order is cancelled after final proof approval, Paper Elephant reserve the right to retain all monies paid so far.

Ink reproduction
Please note that colours can vary slightly between individual pieces (such as invitation printing and RSVP printing), it is recommended to order all of your pieces together (pre-wedding and ceremony/reception pieces) whenever possible. Colours may also differ between letterpress printed and flat printed pieces. If using your own home printer to create your own DIY pieces the colours will most likely differ greatly, as we run press checks with our flat printed pieces to ensure the closest possible colours.

Turnaround and Delivery
A total of 5-6 weeks is usually required for the entire custom design process to be sure you aren’t rushed with your decisions. A gallery based design usually requires 2-3 weeks. The printing process generally takes 4-5 weeks. All packages will be sent by a specified delivery date. Delivery timeframes for international orders may vary, please enquire about the estimated delivery timeframe. Rush orders may be available depending on our studio schedule – please contact us for details, availability and additional fees. All custom printing orders will have a tracking number and require a signature on delivery. Please be sure you are delivering your order to a destination where someone can sign for it, if nobody is available the order will need to be picked up from your nearest Post Office with the notification that they will leave for you. You will be able to access the tracking number provided to you once your order has shipped enabling you to monitor the progress of your delivery.

Quality guarantee
We strive to achieve the highest quality in our printing and see our products, customer service, printing and delivery as above average. However, should you be dissatisfied with our service please contact us to discuss your concerns. If you have already received your order and are not satisfied, please contact us immediately, return your order to us in its original condition and we can take matters from there. However, please note that any errors found in your prints that were present in the final proof approved by you cannot be considered for refund or credit. Refunds are not available on design services for any reason. Please remember that letterpress printing is a craft where slight variations and irregularities are part of it’s charm. Our hand mixed inks can vary slightly from batch to batch making 100% colour match unlikely from run to run.

Any personal information you provide to Paper Elephant is kept confidential and is used only to communicate with you, fulfil your order and to support your experience.
